What is Dogtoberfest?

Dogtoberfest is an Austin based, non-profit organization, created for the purpose of instilling awareness about Dog rescue, as well as raising much needed moneys for local dog rescue organizations.  We have an annual event at The Domain, which includes a silent auction, Canine Costume Contest, pet related demonstrations and fun for all!  Last year approximately 5,000 people and their canine companions attended this one day event!!

The Wiener Dogs Races will be back for 2012!!

We are so pleased to announce that the Wiener Dog Races are back again for 2012.  Central Texas Dachshund Rescue will once again host this crowd pleaser.  Last year hundreds lined the sidewalks to watch these adorable dogs running for the grand prize title.  You will not want to miss it!!
